Current State of Climate Change

The Earth is facing unprecedented climate changes in history. The global average temperature is rising, leading to melting ice at the poles, rising sea levels, and increasingly frequent and intense extreme weather events such as storms, floods, and droughts. These impacts not only affect the natural environment but also cause serious economic and social damage.

Causes of Climate Change

Deforestation:

Deforestation on a large scale also contributes to climate change. Forests play an important role in absorbing CO2 from the atmosphere. When forests are cut down, the ability to absorb CO2 decreases, increasing the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

Solutions to Climate Change

To address climate change, there needs to be a concerted effort from the entire society, from nations and governments to organizations and individuals. Some important solutions include:

Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions:

Switching to renewable energy sources (solar, wind, geothermal, etc.), improving energy efficiency, developing public transportation, and encouraging the use of environmentally friendly vehicles.

Protecting and Restoring Forests:

Planting trees, protecting existing forests, and preventing deforestation. Forests play a crucial role in absorbing CO2 and mitigating the greenhouse effect.

Developing Sustainable Agriculture:

Applying modern farming techniques, reducing the amount of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and increasing biodiversity in agriculture.

Adapting to Climate Change:

Building early warning systems for natural disasters, investing in infrastructure resistant to climate change, and developing crop and livestock varieties adapted to new climate conditions.
